My Motto:

“Allow your passion to“Allow your passion to become your purpose, and it will someday become your profession” become your purpose, and it will someday become your profession” (9).png

How it all began

Working with people, creatively and in reality, has been a long-standing part of my life. Years spent on Hollywood backlots as a professional make-up artist, followed by those as a licensed Realtor, has allowed me the backdrop for where I now stand as a planner/designer of social events. Bringing a studied eye to staged events, with a thorough understanding and respect for other’s needs and expectations.  A personal celebration of bringing things full circle.

My True Calling

My vision for Shindig was crystalized after planning and designing three of my children’s weddings. customizing each event to their individual style, which all were uniquely different. Each one I found myself more excited than the last, taking me to an indescribable creative zone that just made my heart happy! After each event I was bombarded by compliments and coercion of my friends and family to quit my day job and make my passion my profession. With the support and encouragement of my amazing husband I finally decided to listen and take that great leap of faith. I have never looked back!!

 The Cost of a Wedding

Another part of my inspiration for bringing Shindig to this industry came after seeing the final price tags for each of our children’s weddings.

“The cost of a wedding these days is unattainable for some couples and their families. I believe that every couple deserves the wedding they have always dreamed about.”

My goal is to be instrumental in making these dreams come true by including planning, creative custom design & quality rental pieces at budget-friendly prices so even without breaking the bank it will look like you did!

What you can expect?

You can expect when working with me, an interested and listening ear, attention to every detail, and lots of creative inspiration. You will receive impeccable follow through and communication from the beginning stages of planning through the execution of your event. To be totally upfront, I am a FIRM believer in “VERBAL COMMUNICATION”!! Call me old school, but sometimes a chat on the phone or in person is necessary to promote a more efficient as well as clear understanding of each other while working together. Although much of our communication will be through text or e-mail, we will need to make time for an occasional good old fashioned conversation. I am excited about the opportunity to connect with you and look forward to our first communication very soon!
